Michelle Moss
Principal

Dancing from the age of two, Miss Michelle has always had a passion for the Performing Arts. She was a scholar with the Royal Ballet School, British Ballet Organisation, and the Urdang Academy. Training at the Northern Ballet School Miss Michelle then went on to perform nationally and internationally, including dancing on television with Steps, the English National Ballet, Jack Wilde, and Ken Dodd – to name but a few. Miss Michelle has also appeared in many professional pantomimes, performed in The Nutcracker with the Urdang Academy, and danced Giselle at Clywd Theatre. Inspiring others to love performing arts was always her dream.

She is a qualified dance teacher with the IDTA, RAD, BBO, and Acrobatic Arts and Clubbercise Associations. She gained a BA (Hons) in Dance education from Middlesex University in 2013 and went on to also gain a PGCE in Dance Teaching from Staffordshire University in 2019. 

She opened her School of Performing Arts in 2001. Currently, Miss Michelle teaches Ballet, Tap, and Jazz classes, from 2.5 years to adult.

Caroline Jackson
Events & Ballet Teacher

Caroline was Miss Michelle’s very first student, from the age of 11! She has performed at the English Youth Ballet, the Urdang Academy, and the Royal Ballet School.  She went on to study at the Hammond School in Chester, completing a three-year vocational course. She has danced professionally all over the country in various shows, including "Eighties Mania".

Carli Trigg
Lyrical & Contemporary Teacher

Carli grew up inspired by contemporary movement and studied the works of Matthew Bourne, Henri Oguike and Christopher Bruce. Choreography was her first passion and she went on to train in Liverpool at Dolphin Dance Studios.

After leaving dance college Carli went straight into working and training in the commercial industry; appearing in music videos, Film and TV. Carli has appeared on the BBC 2 series of Peaky Blinders and has recently finished filming for a feature length film with Warner Brothers.

She lived and worked in LA working alongside Dana Foglia (Beyoncé), Rhapsody James (P, Diddy), Shaun Evaristo (ML, Justin Bieber), Tamara & Cloud (The Greatest Showman) to name a few.

Carli is now taking time to focus on her own movement and choreography and believes in pushing dancers to the next level in a safe space free of judgement. She currently teaches Contemporary and Lyrical Dance at Michele Moss School, including our competition teams.

Celine Heraty
Ballet,Jazz&Acro Teacher

Celine loved physical activity as a child, but didn’t discover her true passion – dance – until she began training at the Michelle Moss School at the age of 12. Since then, Celine gained Distinction Star in BTEC Performing Arts (Dance) at level 3, and went on to study at Northern Ballet School, and has studied and performed at the Urdang Academy Celine has also danced professionally overseas. She has choreographed pieces professionally and for our own shows.She is continuing her own Dance studies in adulthood, and holds an IDTA Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology, and is a qualified teacher of Acrobatic Arts Dance.  She currently teaches Acro, Ballet, Pointe, Tap and Jazz.

Jess Guest
Hip Hop, Commercial & Dancehall Teacher

Jess began dancing at the age of 3, training in Disco, Ballet and Ballroom - finding her niche in Street Dance at the age of 9. She then continued her dance training at The Academy for Theatre Arts studying a two-year diploma in Performing Arts. Jess is a distinction standard IDTA associate Street Dance teacher and has years of experience teaching children of all ages and abilities, as well as competing across Europe in UDO Street Dance competitions.

Teaching is something Jess has always dreamed of doing, passing her knowledge and training onto her students. She currently teaches Hip Hop, Dancehall, Commercial at Michelle Moss School, and trains our Street Dance competition teams.

Sheridan Forrester
Ballet, Tap & jazz Teacher

Sheridan began dancing at Michelle Moss School when she was just 3 years old, training in Ballet, tap, and disco, and she still continues her Performing Arts studies in adulthood. She studied at the Urdang Academy in London as an Associate, and is a qualified teacher in Progressing Ballet Technique; she also an IDTA Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology. She has choreographed pieces for our own shows and for charity events. Her passion for dance and performance continues until the present day; she currently teaches Ballet and Tap at Michelle Moss School..

Luella Revill
Teacher of Ballroom, Sequence & Latin Dance.

Luella stated to dance at the age of eight and has worked her way up the IDTA examination system to reach Presidents Award in Ballroom, Latin, Freestyle, Street and Rock & Roll. In addition to taking exams Luella has had many successes on the competition floor reaching many finals in Blackpool and recently winning a prestigious Latin competition held in the North West. Luella is now a qualified professional and teacher with the IDTA, and teaches  Ballroom, Latin, Sequence and Rock ’n’ Roll at MMSOPA

 

Megan-Louise Daniels
Teacher of Musical Theatre/Drama

Megan-Louise trained at The School of Creative Arts in Blackpool and has a BA Hons in Musical Theatre. She was a member of the UK’s prestigious British Youth Music Theatre for four years.
She has knowledge of a wide variety of musical styles and established her own company, Perfect Fifth Events with fellow graduate Keeley Harrison, which provides professional performers for charity and corporate events, weddings and other family celebrations.
Her experience includes two years of touring the Midlands with soul band, Soul Junction; performing with The City of Birmingham Young Voices; performing with the City of Birmingham Symphony Youth Chorus and undertaking a tour of cathedrals performing Born For This, a contemporary, musical depiction of the Stations of the Cross. Most recently Megan has joined the award winning vocal Group Ocho, Eight Singers… One Voice which is an exciting vocal ensemble singing a wide range of music.
Since 2004 she has appeared as part of the Celebrate Chorus which features in the concerts of singer-songwriter duo Boyce & Stanley.
She toured the West Midlands in the Eva Long production of Mother Goose at Christmas 2012 and played the lead role of Emily in the Lichfield Garrick community musical The Hired Man in 2016.
Megan-Louise has trained in advanced vocal techniques with West End voice experts Gillyanne Kayes and Jeremy Fisher as well as Zoe Tyler and Tom Pearce. She has appeared on BBC TV for Children In Need and Songs of Praise. She performed with Aled Jones on his version of No Wars Will Stop Us Singing.
In May 2005, Megan-Louise performed at Buckingham Palace and two years later at Westminster Abbey for Her Majesty The Queen, His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh and 2000 guests as part of Commonwealth Observance Day.

Megan has been teaching Musical Theatre at StageScreen in Burton-on-Trent since 2017 and has said: “I am excited to be joining the Michelle Moss Performing Arts School. I look forward to working with the students, whilst promoting vocal health and stamina ready to take into the musical theatre industry”
