Welcome back to dancing, everyone. we hope you had a lovely time over the holidays and are raring to go with preparations for the show in March.

Our theme this year is “A Night at the Movies”, and features music from our favourite films combined with innovative choreography. Look out for The Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lion King, Alice in Wonderland, Toy Story, and more!

The show will take place on March 12th, 13th, & 14th 2020 at the Mitchell arts Centre, Hanley. Tickets are now on sale from reception for £14 (cash only), or from the Mitchell Arts Centre for £15.50 (The Arts Centre charges a booking fee).

Volunteer chaperones are needed to help our dancers backstage, with things like costume changes, hair styles, shoes and accessories. You will need to apply for a Chaperone Licence from Stoke Council – these are free, last for about 3 years, and you can find details of how to apply by phoning the council. Please apply ASAP as they can take up to 6 weeks to come through. Please speak to a Reception Team member if you have any questions.

December 12th, 2019. This week we received some very good news. Student Katie Stanway auditioned with hundreds of hopeful performers recently for a place at the prestigious Doreen Bird College of Dance, Music & Theatre Performance, (commonly known as Bird College), an independent performing arts school and college, located in South East London. She has been informed that she has been successful, and will take up her full-time place in September. Well done, Katie, and many congratulations.

A very exciting time at the Musical Theatre Show on 16th November. Family & friends enjoyed an evening of wonderful singing and performance, and the atmosphere within our Dance Family was electric. A huge cheer to the performers and all the support staff.
